Please read these Terms of Sale carefully before purchasing any items on our Store. When placing an order on the Store, you are accepting these Terms of Sale. If you do not accept these Terms of Sale, then please do not place any orders on this Store.

2. Introduction

2..0 We may update these Terms of Sale at any time and when updated, they are effective immediately. In addition if you have previously made purchases from us and you continue to use the shop after the Terms of Sale have been updated, this represents acceptance of these new Terms of Sale.

2.1 Note that the above mentioned Terms of Sale are based on UK law and therefore may not apply for countries outside of the UK.

2.2 These Terms of Sale do not affect your statutory rights or any other rights you may have under applicable local law.

2.3 In addition to these Terms of Sale, you are bound by the terms of our Privacy Policy.

3. Store Services

3.1 We deliver to the UK excluding Northern Ireland, Gibraltar, British Sovereign Bases Cyprus, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.

3.2 The items listed on our Store are for use in the UK only unless otherwise described. Some products on the Store may also be sold in multiple countries and therefore have no distinct specifications in the UK.

3.3 All rights including copyrighted content such as logos, images and descriptions used on this Store are owned or licensed by us. Using, copying or saving this material for commercial use is forbidden nor can you adapt, share or repost anything from this website.

4. Products

4.1 Item descriptions are to give you (the customer) general information about the products listed. Many of the products listed are extremely technical in nature and therefore it is not feasible to list full technical specifications. Unless otherwise stated, there are no additional warranties or commitments regarding the products.

4.2 The descriptions provided with the products are intended to give you information about the products however this is not legally binding unless a warranty is explicitly implied. Weights and sizing dimensions are approximate only.

4.3 All the products listed on the Store are subject to stock availability and it is possible that we may experience stocking issues which prevent us from being able to fulfill your order. We reserve the right to cancel an order should we experience stock issues and will update you with an expected delivery schedule. Products will be supplied as they are supplied to us from the manufacturer(s).

4.4 Although it is your choice, there are some products where we have recommended that the products listed on the Store should be fitted by a trained technician. Should you chose to ignore this when fitting the item, we will not be held not responsible, nor will the product be covered under warranty should any damage occur as a result. We strongly recommend that you provide you vehicle VIN or Registration as requested on the product page, to ensure compatibility. 

4.5 Vehicle compatibility information included within product descriptions is only a guide. Therefore we cannot guarantee compatibility with your vehicle. 

5. Orders and Acceptance

5.1 When you place an order on the Store, this will be subject to acceptance from us and no payment will be taken until we do so. Once we have checked that we can successfully fulfill your order, we will capture your payment. You will receive email confirmation once we have dispatched your item(s) or when your order is available for collection.  

5.2 We reserve the right to withdraw from an order placed by a customer and will not be liable for any losses or damages incurred due to not supplying or delayed dispatch of the item(s).

5.3 We will use all information as provided by you in the checkout process, such as address, name and contact information.

6. Prices

6.1 The price of the products are as referred to on the Store however these may change at any time. You will be charged the price that the product was listed for at the time of purchase.

6.2 The quoted prices do not include delivery cost. Delivery costs will be added onto your total during the checkout process. Please note that all prices include VAT and are in GBP.

6.3 There may be instances where a product is listed with an incorrect price. In instances of clear pricing errors and where the correct price is higher than the listed price we will inform you, however we reserve the right to cancel the order. If the price quoted on the Store is higher than the correct price, we will contact you to organise a refund of the difference.

6.4 We will not be responsible for fulfilling orders at an inaccurate price even if an order acceptance email has been sent. Where a pricing error is easily evident, this could have been fairly identified by you.

6.5 Promotional offers that can be redeemed on our Store are not necessarily available in our physical dealership(s)

7. Payment

7.1 You are responsible for providing accurate payment details during the checkout process. We do not accept liability for any charges relating to the card or bank that are incurred by you as a result of placing an order on the Store. If you give us incorrect card or payment details we will not be liable for any delays in dispatching the item(s). If it is not possible to receive full payment for the item(s) you have ordered, we will cancel the full order.

7.2 At the payment stage of the checkout process, you must provide the exact information such as billing address that your bank has on file for you. If you supply incorrect information this may cause delays in us processing your order or cause issues with payment authorisation from your bank. Please ensure that the expiry date on your payment card is after the anticipated dispatch date of your order.

7.3 We support several payment options including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, as well as Apple PayYour data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).

7.4 The payment of the purchasing price and delivery costs are due immediately once we accept your order.


7.5 We will let you know if we are unable to fulfill your order and will provide you with a full refund should payment have been captured by us.

8. Delivery

8.1 The delivery address given by you at the time of order is the address that will be used to dispatch to. If you have entered an incorrect delivery address or wish to amend the delivery address that you have provided, you must get in touch with us immediately using the details in section 3.4 We endeavour to be able to meet your request but cannot guarantee that this is possible, especially if the item(s) is awaiting or has been dispatched.

8.2 We deliver to all locations in the UK except Northern Ireland, Jersey, The Isle of Man, Gibraltar, and British Sovereign Bases Cyprus. We reserve the right to cancel your order if the delivery address is included in the above list of excluded locations.

8.3 The time scales quoted on the Store are for guidance purposes only and we cannot guarantee that we can deliver your item(s) within these timeframes nor will we be liable for any delays, direct or consequential damages or claims as a result of the delay.  

8.4 Unless loss or damage to the goods has been caused by our negligence, we will not be held liable for loss or damage to the item(s) due to delivery instructions submitted by you directly or during the checkout process.

8.5  All orders placed prior to 12 noon (Monday to Friday) will be dispatched within three working days, subject to stock availability. If we or our suppliers are temporarily out of stock, we will notify you as soon as possible and you should allow up to 30 days for dispatch. For delays by our suppliers of more than 14 days, you will have the right to cancel the order and we will refund any money paid by you, unless alternative dates have been mutually agreed and confirmed by both parties.

9. Transfer of Ownership and Risk

9.1 At the point of delivery to the specified address, the risk of loss or damage transfers to you. If we were unable to deliver to you, the risk of loss or damage will be transferred to you at the time we attempted to deliver.

9.2 Ownership of the goods will pass to you once we have received the full monetary balance including the relevant delivery charges and the goods have been delivered to you.

9.3 When ordering products from the Store, you confirm that you have no intention of selling the products on for commercial purposes. We reserve the right to cancel your order should we identify that this is your intention. 

10. Warranties

10.1 All products come with a 1 year manufacturer warranty, giving you peace of mind if they should become faulty within 12 months of purchase. This warranty excludes faults caused by accident, neglect and misuse as well as routine maintenance (eg cleaning), consumables (eg batteries) and cosmetic damage. If any parts or accessories are not fitted by an authorised dealer, this will void your product warranty.

10.2 You can submit a warranty claim by contacting us and we will review this claim. If the claim is admissible, we will repair or replace the defective part. Please bring your original receipt of purchase from the Store.

10.3 As explained in 4.4, if a part is damaged due to incorrect fitment, this is not covered as part of the warranty provided. In addition, fair wear and tear is not covered within the warranty.

10.4 This warranty is additional to your statutory rights.

11. Right to Cancel

11.1 As per the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have up to 14 days after you have received your item(s) to cancel your order without giving reason, provided you return the Goods that you do not wish to keep, in the condition in which they were received, together with a covering letter and the original delivery note.

In the unlikely event that items from an order consisting of multiple items sent separately, the 14 days begins the day after the last item was received from the order. 11.2 To cancel your order, you must let us know that you wish to exercise the right to cancel within the 14 day period.

11.3 If you do cancel your order, we will reimburse all monies received provided that the item(s) returned are in the original condition in which they were delivered to you. The reimbursement will include the standard delivery charges if they were originally paid for by you (not including any additional costs incurred by you should you have chosen a more expensive delivery service). We reserve the right to not fully refund the value of the order should there be a loss in the value of the item(s) whilst the item(s) was in your ownership.

11.4 We endeavour to make reimbursements in a timely manner within 14 days of us receiving the item(s) back or when you provide evidence of having returned the goods (for example, a proof of postage receipt from the post office), whichever is sooner. If you have cancelled your order before we have dispatched the item(s), we will reimburse you within 14 days of you cancelling the Agreement. We will reimburse the payment amount back to the same payment details you provided at the checkout stage unless it has been explicitly agreed otherwise with you. You will not be charged any fees for the reimbursement.

11.5 You are responsible for arranging and paying for any costs associated with returning the order to us. You are also responsible for ensuring the item is received by us in the condition in which it was sent to you as well as utilising appropriate packaging (original where possible) to prevent damages. You must make sure that the item(s) are sent by you no later than 14 days after the item(s) were received by you to warrant a refund. We strongly recommend that you obtain proof of postage as evidence of the date you returned the item(s) to us. If you have received an incorrect or faulty item(s) from us, then the return costs will also be refunded to you however this must be confirmed by us.

11.6  Any sealed software (e.g. Navigation update) which has been opened will not be refunded unless faulty.

11.7 If you do not return the item(s) to us or do not pay the cost of returning the item(s), we are entitled to deduct the value of recovering the item(s) from the amount due to be reimbursed to you.

11.8 Please note that if you place an order for item(s) that have a promotion (reduced) price and cancel or return this order, you will only receive a refund for the item(s) at the promotional price not the full price even if the price at the point of cancellation is different.

12. Limitation of Liability

We limit our liability to the amount you have paid for the item(s) under these Terms of Sale and expressly exclude all liability for (I) any economic losses (including without limitation loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings); and (ii) any loss of goodwill or reputation and (iii) any special, indirect or consequential losses.

12.2 We cannot guarantee that the www.shop.kinehome-renault.co.uk service will be fault free. We may experience technical issues and occasionally we will need to carry out site maintenance. If you encounter any issues, please contact us using the contact information in section 3.4. We endeavour to fix any issues as quickly as possible.

12.3 The Store service provided by Us is not provided with any warranties. We cannot guarantee that the website is free from Viruses or other defects although we endeavour to ensure that it is. You must bear the risks of the internet.

12.4 The content on www.shop.kinehome-renault.co.uk is from various sources and whilst we endeavour to ensure it is correct and of high quality, we cannot guarantee this. If we are made aware of issues or discrepancies, we will fix these as soon as reasonably possible. We will not be liable for any issues or errors caused as a result of the use of this information or content.

    12.5 Nothing in these Terms of Sale shall exclude www.shop.kinehome-renault.co.uk liability for personal injury or death caused by its negligence.

    12.6 We are not responsible for any content that is linked to from www.shop.kinehome-renault.co.uk and is therefore hosted by a third party.

    12.7 We will not be liable for any breach of these Terms of Sale that is beyond our control.

    13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

    13.1 The Agreement and these Terms (and all non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with it) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, unless you live in Scotland when the law of Scotland will apply or in Northern Ireland, when the law of Northern Ireland will apply. The relevant courts of the United Kingdom shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Agreement.

    13.2 In addition to 13.1, we make no guarantees that the material and content on www.shop.kinehome-renault.co.uk is appropriate, correct, applicable or available outside of the UK. If you choose to access www.shop.kinehome-renault.co.uk outside of the UK, you are responsible for abiding by your domestic laws.

    13.3 If any content depicted in these Terms of Sale is not admissible by any court with competent jurisdiction, the remaining points in this document remain valid.  

    13.4 Whether with intent or not, if you choose to ignore any part of these Terms of Sale and subsequently breach these Terms, we reserve the right to act upon this at any time.

    14.0 Your Kineholme of Otley Shop account

    14.1 To register for a Kineholme of Otley Shop account, you must be over 18 years of age.

    14.2 You are responsible for ensuring the details you provide to us when registering for the account are correct and accurate. You must inform us immediately if you have given incorrect details or wish to update this information.

    14.3 When you register your account you will be asked to create a password. You are responsible for keeping this password safe and secure and should not share this with anyone else. You are responsible for all activities and orders that take place on your account that occur or are submitted using your password. If you believe someone else is using your account and password, we advise you to change your password and contact us immediately using the details in section 3.4.

    14.4 If we suspect fraudulent activity or any breach of security, we reserve the right to suspend your account or advise you to change your password.  

    14.5 We reserve the right to cancel your account if you breach these Terms of Sale.

    15. Copyright

    All rights, including copyright and database right, in the website and its contents, are owned by or licensed to Kineholme, or otherwise used by Kineholme as permitted by applicable law or the copyright holder. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, download, post, broadcast or transmit any text, images, graphic, logo, button, icon, image and their selection and arrangement thereof, and any underlying source code and software, for any commercial or public purpose without prior written permission from Kineholme or the copyright holder.

    You may not adapt, alter or create any of the material or information in this site or use it for any other purpose other than for your personal non-commercial use. You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes.

    Kineholme reserves the right to use for its own purposes any material submitted to the site, including text and images, either on the site or in any other form, including for publicity purposes. Kineholme reserves the right to monitor submissions to the site and to edit or reject any submissions.
